Professional Development

The Learning Community Trust is committed to continually investing in and developing its staff across all the schools in the Trust. We offer a range of professional learning opportunities in addition to cross Trust collaborative events.

Opportunities for Teachers

To ensure that we offer the highest quality staff development we work in close partnership with the Marches Academy Trust and the Alliance of Leading Learning to offer the full complement of National College Qualifications (NPQML, NPQSL, NPQH and NPQEL). Both the NPQML and NPQSL are delivered locally at Hadley Learning Community. These opportunities are not only available for staff within our Trust, but for any teacher looking to develop into a further role. If you are interested in accessing any of these courses, please click the appropriate link below.

Opportunities for Newly Qualified Teachers

In addition to supporting teachers looking to develop into their next role, we are also committed to supporting newly qualified teachers within the Trust. We understand the challenges of this first year and therefore offer high quality training and support to all NQTs in the Trust on a weekly basis. We feel that it is important for teachers, who are new to the profession, to meet regularly to share experiences and tips and develop valuable working and supportive relationships. In addition to the weekly training all NQTs have access to our NQT Conference and again, this is available at a small cost to NQTs outside the Trust, who would like to be part of a supportive network. If you are interested in joining our NQT network, please follow the links below.
