Admissions and Appeals
The Learning Community Trust works in partnership with Telford and Wrekin Council over admissions to all its academies. If you are interested in applying for a place for your child in any of our schools, except Queensway Special School, please follow the link below which will provide you with all the information and the forms you require on applying for a school place.
Queensway Special School has a different admissions procedure, which requires a child to have an Education Health Care (EHC) Plan. Places are allocated by the Trust in partnership with Telford and Wrekin Council through a placements panel for Special Schools in the Borough. If you wish your child to be considered for a place then discuss this with the SENCo in your child’s school or contact the SEND team at Telford and Wrekin Council at the link below.
The appeals process for parents who have not been offered a place at one of our schools is through the Admissions Team at Telford and Wrekin Council who manage the appeals on behalf of the Trust. Parents who have not been offered a place will receive correspondence for the Admissions Team explaining the process and timescales for appeals. Our Headteachers are part of the process, they attend and present to the Appeals Panel for the relevant school.
